kaathirundha kangale...

edhavadhu rule iruka-nu therila, ladies-na handbag-a kailaye vachukkanumnu...I normally don't carry a handbag, nangalam irukardhai jeans/coat pocket-la vachikanum, adhaivida jasthiya irundha shoulder bag eduthukkanum-nra category. Imagine having to carry a handbag that constantly slides off your shoulder or hangs on your wrists while you are struggling to keep your hands inside the pockets to protect them from the cold! Maha thollai pidichadhu indha handbag-nra vasthu..
Idhellam en solren-na, I had to take the handbag out to go for the loooong weekend outing (fri-sat-sun-mon -na chummava). I took both the original and the duplicate keys for the house, and decided that I'll give one of them to another person in the group just so we are safe when we get back. Aana adhai naan kadaisi varaikum pannave illa. We all went to Cornwall for a stay and visit the Eden project. Indha Eden project edho eco-friendly project, aana romba easy-ya nyabagam vachikkanumna remember the hemispherical architecture in Sivaji's Sahana song? Adhe madhiri oru architecturedhan ingayum, and adhu ulla they maintain the Mediterranean and Rainforest plantations. It was fun and enjoyable, but all that until the day we left.
Naan romba poruppa kilambara aniku, started cleaning up everything - fine edhuvum pottuda koodadhe cottageku - and was busy the entire morning. Ellam ready pannitu we packed and left. We were a group of 8, 5 adults and 3 kids, so egapata luggages were stowed in the cars. Andha cottage erkaneve oru narrow passage ulla irundhadhu, and after we got to the main road, my sis-in-law from the car in the front called up and asked if we had remembered to take the buggy. As the entire world knows, naanga adhai marandhuttom :D So we went back through that narrow road and got it and returned.
Oru 70 miles vandhiruppom, something suddenly struck my mind that I am missing a "vicious" thing - the handbag. Mudhalla handbag-ladhan onnum illaye, who cares what happens to it-nu vittuten...appuramdhan nyabagam vandhadhu that the keys are in it!! None of us had the mood to drive back, nor did we want to break the lock - £150na chummava?
Theriyamadhan kekkaren, have you taken the buggy-nu kettavangaluku have you taken the handbag-nu kekkardhuku nyabagam varadha? Illa ella luggage-um stow pannome, handbag-a nyabagama eduthu vaippom-nu stow pannavangaluku thonadha? And who on earth can remember this trivial piece of bag, called the handbag? Yaar kandupidicha indha vasthu-va?
Right now, we are temporarily at the sis-in-law's place (ofcourse, I am angry with her at not reminding me ;) ), and waiting for the keys to come in the courier...
