Ooru vittu ooru vandhu...

Indha oorla irukardhu is getting a lot scary these days. Edho onsite vandhoma, 4 idam suthinoma, sandoshama irundoma-nradhe kanom. I am not sure about other places, but London is becoming an unsafe place. So indha blog enikkavadu gets dormant-na, maybe its something wrong up here in London :)) Ok ok, Indianangel, I am not insinuating at anything negative here, but konjam terrified-a dhan iruken naan and am trying to make it sound light. Or it is maybe that as usual enakudhan ellam thappu thappa nadakudho ennamo..

Recently there was this news: underground station-la, there was this guy who just glanced at another guy who was talking to his gf. They were apparently fighting, but indha payyan adhai kettana-nu therila. Anyways, so it was just a glance. Train vandadhu, and rendu guys-ume boarded the same compartment, and after a few minutes of the departure of the train, the second guy came up to the first guy and killed him! And this first guy was a student and wanted to sign up for the army. Super-a illa? Oruthan parthadhuke kolai panranga indha naatla..yarayum parkave koodadhu poliruku, even by the way of looking around casually. Naan erkaneve nalla paraku parkara case (I mean, in the good sense), so inimel velila pona I am planning to wear 4 layers of padded clothing, followed by 1 layer of red ink, and then my dress..kuthinappuram ratham vandha velai mudinjadu-nu ninaichuppanga la..he he..nethu Dhoom2 partha effect idhellam.

Ok, so I was thinking idhellam engayavadhudhan nadakum, just that wrong people wrong time and wrong place. Kadaiseela partha, namake aapu vaikaranga! I am not saying I faced a very severe situation, but whatever trivial thing that happened has quite scared me. On Wednesday, I had been to a night show of Casino Royale in my locality. Thirumba varumpodhu, it was slightly raining and dark, and I was wearing my coat's hood too. Appo roadla sila teenagers irundhanga, you would think they are just teenagers, that is what I thought too. Thideernu two of them came to me asking "is that a man or a woman", and we just kept walking. One of them touched me from behind, and naan rombave kaduppaiten - I mean, who the heck is touching me-nu - and I said "Get lost!" and walked away. Konja neram they were laughing saying "ok, thats a woman" appadinu, but thideernu I dont know what hit their brains, one of them, a girl came running behind me and started yelling at me. Thirumba partha, she started asking me "Do u want me to smack you up?", I was for a moment shocked. This kid, who probably is in her teens, is threatening me, considerably elder to her. I asked her, "what is it to you whether I am a man or a woman?" and she continued yelling "do you want me to smack you up?", and my anger started rising.

Not that I am the kind who hits people, aana normal-a namakellame kobam varumillaya if being unfairly threatened, adhan enakum vandhadhu. I was thinking, why cant we just hit this impertinent kid, when her friends surrounded us, and oru chinna payyan - nijamave kutti paayan, may be he is 11 or 12 - started yelling at me using all possible expletives. En kooda vandha nallavar (he he) started asking them, "why do you want to hit her", and this girl justifies herself saying I told her to get lost! Aniyayama therila? Ivanga vandhu chumma poravala thoduvangalam, naan aana thitta koodadham! He pacified me saying 'Usha, dont get tensed' and apologized to them, and naanum 'sorry'-nu kaduppoda avangala parthu sonnen. Appovum kooda they didn't want to let us go and were threatening us. So mudive panten, seri nammala pottu thakka poranga, suthi yaarume illa, gaali di Usha nee-nu. Appodhan yet another kiddo from that gang came and said "hey, c'mon leave them" and started pushing them away. Then konjam light-a we got relieved, and we started walking the other way.

But I was so tensed the way back, and seething with anger. Enna kodumai parunga, these "thugs" are just teenagers, younger than us, and still they had the upper hand. And they might have attacked us with knives or anything, and still escape coz as far as I learnt, there are not laws that arrest teenagers, and they can get away with this. Maybe I am wrong, but that is what my colleague told me. Aana romba aniyayam, I am scared these days to walk after hours anywhere, konjam gumbala yaraiyavadhu parthutta I shiver inside and try taking longer steps towards home :))

AYYA SAMINGALA, this is a story tag, and the person is just supposed to continue the story from where it has been left. NY started this, and I continued, thats all. Idhula puriyama poradhuku enna iruku????

The Unusual Endings

“It was rather strange”, he muttered to himself as he pondered on what had been happening for the past three days, while walking out of the arrogant Italian, Vencelli Darpkink’s 19th century office, which was home not only to its proprietor but also to pugent odours and queer looking sapiens from time to time.

Meera Dias, was the name. They had first met when things were quite off note. “Lagos wasn’t a place for summer spots”, he had warned her. What he heard now was troubling him even more. Congo was not something he had suggested either.

My addition:

"Ennadhan panra ava anga?" he wondered aloud, as he got out of the cab outside the building that flaunted a board that read "Amanushya vishayangaluku anugavum: Dr. JevitsJayaraj". Aniku kalaila, he had got a call, and pesinadhu Meeradhan. Aana he could notice the difference between the voice he had listened to 2 days ago and the one he heard in the morning. '2 days munnadi sema super-a veenai madhiri ketta kural iniku kaalaila eppadi husky-a vichitrama?', he shuddered for a moment recollecting the conversation he had..

"Hello, iss it Vassisht, naan Meera" - there was an eerieness around the voice he heard...

Indha kadhaiya ezhudardhuku oru 10 condition vera, idhula edhai venumnalum neenga meeralam, aana ellathaiyum meera koodadhu, ok? (NY?, eniku Indians ellathaiyum rules padi senjirukom? So indha leniency) Appadi ellathaiyume follow pannina Mahatma-ku oru kilo halwa ambi anupiduvar (enaku promise pannirukar, nija halwave tharen un tag ezhudaravangaluku-nu). An alternate condition to this is to continue it the way as I think it should be.

This is a Story Tree and is best nurtured as follows:
1. A blogger can add only 90-100 words (not more or less) at a time (keenjidhu, count vera pannanumakkum)
2. All previous snippets of 90-100 words need to be copied before the new set of 90-100 words are appended. (aama, appadiye valarthu valarthu kalpaga vrutsham aakidalam)
3. Each entire snippet should be linked to the respective author (and not just the first sentence or so) (aamama, illana padikaravanga paavam thedi alaivanga paarunga!)
4. Characters, scenes, etc. can be introduced by an author (aana yarum London-a izhuka koodadhu solten)
5. Bizarre twists, sci-fi, fantasy sequences are best avoided. (he he, naan meeriten)
6. After appending 90-100, the Story Tree can be passed on to at most 5 bloggers. (correct, 5-ku mela kodumai paduthina paavam chumma vidadhu)
7. If more than 1 branch leads to a blogger, s/he is free to choose any one of them but cannot mix the snippets of the individual branches. (illana engaluku kozhambidum)
8. The Story Tree is best left to grow than concluded (adhavadhu Kolangal madhiri)
9. Please attach the image of the Story Tree above with each accepted tag (the link address can be copied and used). (romba mukkiyam!!)
10. Please comment back your story’s link to post from where you were initially tagged so that people can follow. (idhudhane 3rd pointum?)
