The next day, I was at work, and andha rendavadhu nallavar sent me a mail saying someone
had actually purchased the TV for £525!! Idhu ennada vichitrama iruku, how can someone
buy a 3 year old TV for £525 when there are tvs selling lesser than that? apapadinu I was
getting so confused. But I should also admit that we were very excited.
Seri, indha vanginavan kadhaiku varuvom for a background - this guy had asked for same day delivery, and offered to come and collect it in person. Namma aalu solittar, that he will deliver it and asked for his address and stuff - and had also mentioned that he will deliver it as soon as he gets the payment. Mr. X had called up and assured a paypal transaction although not immediate, and had mentioned that he is waiting for his wife to come home and that he will call up with the address once everything is in place.
Naan office-lerndhu veetuku varardhukulla the TV was sitting packed - the deliveryman ;-) was enthusiastic about the whole thing.
Naangalum wait pannite irundhom for that call, and it did come - not from the bloke, but from some lady. This lady started hurriedly explaining that she didn't buy the TV from us but that she got a mail saying she did. Idhu ennada golmal-nu ivar egira arambichar that they have committed to buy and that we have packed the tv!! Appuram dhan ava solra that some guy had hacked her id and had bought 6 TVs and was collecting the TVs from the sellers' residences!!! Ofcourse, with "promised" payments! And she was calling up everyone to warn them!
Adangokkamakka! Konjam emandhirundha enga TV-yum out-a? Infact, Ravi even called him
after this call from the landline, coz he was disconnecting the mobile calls - and this guy replied saying there is a problem with the payment and that he is still working on it!
So now the TV is still there at my residence, any takers for £500? ;-)
